Citizenship
Citizenship by lawful residence in Kenya
Organise lawful-residence records for a Kenyan citizenship application. RENEZ helps prepare permit histories, supporting documents and official questions.
Long residence can produce a substantial document history. RENEZ EXTREME CONSULTANCY helps you organise that history and understand the published citizenship application process, without treating elapsed time alone as a guarantee of eligibility.
Published threshold and supporting records
The Directorate identifies at least seven years of continuous lawful residence and Form 10. Its checklist includes permits for the last seven years, questionnaire, attested form, photographs, good-conduct certificate, evidence of contribution to national development, personal bank statement and passport copy. The Act imposes further conditions that must be assessed individually. [S12, S11]
Create a residence history
List each permit, validity period, travel absence and previous status application. Mark any gap rather than hiding it. Keep official receipts and decisions with the corresponding application. A qualified adviser or the authority should assess whether the legal conditions are met; document organisation cannot resolve an unlawful-status period.
Plan before committing to fees
Citizenship and permanent residence are different routes. We help you understand which question to ask, prepare the supporting information and obtain a separate quotation for the agreed work. Government application and issuance charges should be checked before payment.
Frequently asked questions
Does seven years in Kenya automatically qualify me?
No. The residence must meet the applicable legal conditions, and the full requirements still apply.
Is a permanent-residence certificate a Kenyan passport entitlement?
Do not treat residence status as citizenship. A passport application requires the appropriate citizenship basis.
Can you fix a gap in my permit record?
We can help identify and document it. Regularisation or its legal effect needs official guidance or legal advice.
Note: Preparation assistance is not a legal assessment of residence continuity or an assurance of citizenship.
