Student, research and internship pass preparation
Prepare Kenya student, research or internship pass records with RENEZ, including host letters, admission, sponsorship and current immigration information.
Education, a research project and an internship involve different purposes and supporting records. RENEZ EXTREME CONSULTANCY helps applicants and hosts organise the correct published preparation requirements.
Admission and host support
The eFNS information pack describes foreign students admitted to approved education/training institutions and researchers or interns accepted by institutions in Kenya. For students it identifies institution-signed/stamped Form 30, course/duration letter, sponsor commitment and identity, self-sponsor funds where applicable, passport/current status, photos and academic records. Minors need parental/relationship records; renewals require progress records. Research and internship preparation needs the relevant host documentation. [S29]
Get the institution involved early
As the host which authorised person will sign the required records and whether it has additional official permission requirements for the activity. We help organise the application information but cannot issue an admission, approve a project or replace a host institution’s responsibilities.
Plan dates and other approvals
Create a calendar for the intended start, existing status expiry, outstanding host documents and personal steps. Immigration permission does not automatically replace research ethics, professional, institutional or sector permissions. If the placement includes work beyond the stated activity, obtain a specific route review.
FAQs
Does an admission letter alone authorise study in Kenya?
No. Check the required immigration process and official decision.
Can an internship be labelled as study for convenience?
Use the true activity and the correct category. Do not submit a misleading description.
Can you guarantee a pass before the course starts?
No. Prepare early and discuss timing with the institution; government processing is independent.
Note: RENEZ does not grant admission, research approval or immigration permission.
