Consultancy fees and government charges explained

Understand how RENEZ separates consultancy fees, Kenyan government charges and third-party costs, with a written scope before application-support work.

Know what you are paying for before proceeding. RENEZ EXTREME CONSULTANCY provides a scope-based quotation for the agreed support. Government departments charge their own fees where applicable, and third-party services can create separate costs.

Three different cost categories

Consultancy charges

These pay for the work in your RENEZ quotation, such as preparation or agreed follow-up. Ask what is included, which steps are excluded and whether tax applies. No universal consultancy price is published here because the scope must first be established.

Government fees

Pay through the current authorised government payment channel and keep the official receipt. Some services are free or have category-based exemptions. We must never label our support charge as a government fee for a free service.

Third-party costs

Certification, sworn statements, translation, courier, legal or tax work may have separate providers and charges. These should be agreed before they are incurred and identified in the cost breakdown.

Quotes, timing and refunds

Ask for payment stages and cancellation/refund terms before accepting the service. The government may retain processing charges regardless of the outcome; official rules apply. RENEZ’s own refund position should reflect the work agreed and completed and your applicable rights. A government refusal does not itself prove that preparation work was not done, and a quotation must not promise an approval.
